Earn a College Degree at Aerosim Flight Academy
For those wishing to pursue a college degree, the Academy offers a 2-year Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree with emphasis options in two disciplines: Pilot Operations and Flight Instruction.
- A.S. Degree — Pilot Operations: This program prepares students for a versatile career as a commercial pilot. The curriculum is designed to be completed in 24 months, with an A.S. Degree awarded upon completion.
- A.S. Degree — Flight Instruction: Our A.S. Degree with an emphasis in Flight Instruction is designed to prepare students for a career as a flight instructor leading up to a career in the regional airlines. The curriculum is designed to be completed in 24 months, with an A.S. Degree awarded upon completion.
Both degree programs are only offered at our Orlando/Sanford location in Florida.
Earn a Degree Through Our University Partners
Students also have the option to earn a 2-year Associate’s or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in aviation through one of our university partners:
- Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida, is a private institution offering a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management and Flight Operations.
- Broward College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is a state-sponsored institution offering a 2-year Associate’s Degree in Professional Pilot Technology.
- San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas, is a state-sponsored institution offering a 2-year Associates Degree in Applied Science, or a Certificate of Technology.
Students enrolled at these institutions will complete their flight training at Aerosim Flight Academy and will have the opportunity to get their Private, Instrument, Commercial Single-Engine and Multi-Engine ratings, as well as their Certificated Flight Instructor ratings within the degree programs. Upon completion of these ratings, they will have the opportunity to apply for a job as a Flight Instructor at Aerosim Flight Academy.
