Commercial Pilot Track

Return to your Home Country and Start your Airline Career. Our commercial pilot track takes you through your Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating and Commercial Multi-Engine Rating. This track is perfect for international students who do not need to build hours as a U.S. flight instructor before returning to their home country.

Work in the United States as a Certified Flight Instructor. For international students wishing to stay in the United States and work as a Certified Flight Instructor, we offer flight training courses that will take you through your Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial Multi-Engine and Certified Flight Instructor Rating. This is a great option for students wishing to build hours while getting paid as a Certified Flight Instructor.*

JAA Training (Europe)

Aerosim Flight Academy has a unique partnership with Belgium Flight School (BFS) in which BFS has established a certified JAA satellite training center at our Academy in Sanford, Florida. Once BFS receives approval from the Belgian Aviation Authority, we can begin offering JAA training to students at Aerosim.
Training Fleet
In order to provide top-quality training, we use the Cirrus SR-20 aircraft as our primary trainer. The Cirrus aircraft includes a fully digital avionics suite (all glass cockpit). Our training fleet also includes the following lower-cost options for flight training: Cessna 172, Piper Seminole and Piper Arrow. Our Beechcraft King Air is our primary aircraft for high performance training.
Training Simulation
Because our parent company, Aerosim, Inc., specializes in developing the industry’s most technologically advanced simulation equipment, students will also train on the following world-class simulation trainers:
- Aerosim Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATD)
- Aerosim Level 6 SR20 Flight Training Devices (FTD)
- 142 Multi-Engine Flight Training Devices (FTD)

* Upon successful completion of the professional pilot program and/or our CFI courses, Aerosim Flight Academy will guarantee students an interview to potentially be hired as a Flight Instructor. Hiring is based on multiple factors, including candidates’ past training performance, communication and teaching skills, and the needs of the company, as well as successful completion of Aerosim Flight Academy’s Certified Flight Instructor Standardization Course.
