Pilot Training (India)

Become a Commercial Pilot in India

Aerosim Flight Academy offers pilot training for those who wish to fly for one of India’s airlines. Our Professional Indian Airline Program meets all minimum DGCA requirements and hours. Successful completion of this program will also earn you the necessary FAA ratings, and depending on what program you select, the opportunity to work in the U.S. for Aerosim Flight Academy as a paid flight instructor.

In combination, these two accomplishments will allow you to convert your licenses and ratings once you return to India. We only use DGCA-approved aircraft for the Professional Indian Airline Program, and our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and approved by the FAA for 141 Professional Programs.

Jet Bridge Training

Upon completion of the private, instrument, commercial and multi-engine license, students may choose to enroll into the valuable jet bridge program that transitions students from piston aircraft to jet aircraft. This three week course includes 55 hours of academics and 26 hours in a Canada Regional Jet, Boeing 737NG or Airbus 320 and prepares students for the valuable type rating that most airlines in India require prior to being hired on as a first officer in training.

Type Rating Courses

Aerosim’s A320 Type Rating courses meet all DGCA Type Rating Requirements and NOC and is appropriate for Indian pilots that do not meet ATP experience requirements seeking a first-time turbojet type rating and who have less than 300 hours of flight experience.
