Software Simulation Engineer - Entry Level- (jobcode202@aerosim.com)

Aerosim Technologies, a world-recognized leader for simulation & training products within the Aviation, Aerospace, and Department of Defense industries, is currently seeking an Entry Level Software Simulation Engineer to develop computer based training programs for the avaition industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test and document aircraft systems and avionics.
• Perform functions associated with the above, such as attending design review, producing design and test specifications and assisting with in-house acceptance.
• Assist with on-site integration, installation, test and acceptance.
• Undertake, upon request, the maintenance of any software tools comprising Aerosim software development environment.
• Adhere to all Company and contractual standards and processes applicable to software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or similar degree) required.
• 0-2 year's formal software development experience.
• Solid experience with the following software development tools/languages: C++ and Object Oriented Programming.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work within a team environment as well as communicate effectively with other team members.
• Strong problem resolution and skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities is a necessity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
