Applications:

System Integrated Training (SIT) - All Aircraft systems are fully simulated and the VPT™ is capable of displaying characteristics of the actual aircraft. Panels are displayed and located in the correct position allowing panel location and cockpit flows/scans to be taught and practiced. Hands on training can be accomplished simply by touching the appropriate knob/switch, etc.

Integrated Flight Crew Training - Normal, non-normal and emergency procedures for pre-flight, departure, cruise, en-route, arrival, approach, missed approach and automatic landing can be achieved with full integration across all systems. This can be accomplished in a stand-alone student free-play mode or through structured lessons.

Validations - Systems Validation, Procedures Validation, Line Oriented Evaluations and Line Oriented Flight Training (LOFT). These validation exercises can be accomplished and practiced completely in the VPT™. Scenarios can be developed and presented to the student by the instructor for immediate instructor evaluation and/or scoring and remediation through the lesson plan editor.

CRM Training - Both Captain and First Officer can work together in an integrated crew environment. Flows and procedures can be practiced as a crew.

Maintenance Training - As an option, maintenance functions including avionics bay, black box location and active schematics can be simulated. This includes LRU BITE and failures.
