Aerosim to Provide Innovative Solution to Flybe Training Academy

Burnsville, Minnesota – February 27, 2013 – Aerosim, a global aviation training company, today announced the agreement with Flybe Training Academy for an Embraer 170/190 & Dash 8 Q400 convertible Aerosim Virtual Procedure Trainer (VPT). This will be Aerosim’s first procedure training device that will have the ability to convert between two different aircraft types. Flybe will also receive Aerosim’s Virtual Flight Deck and Flight Management System Trainers (FMST) for ground school training.

The procedure training solution provided by Aerosim will assist in the high quality training delivered by Flybe Training Academy. The flexible solution will provide cost savings through: Student proficiency, reduced travel/accommodation costs, and optimization of full flight simulator time.
