Dave Rapley

President & CEO

Dave Rapley is responsible for running the organization and providing the company’s direction through planning, strategic initiatives, and alliances to achieve business goals. He also oversees the new product development further expanding Aerosim’s product line. Rapley possesses over 20 years in the aircraft simulation industry. He has worked for both airlines and simulator manufacturers such as Singer Link Miles, as a simulation software engineer. Rapley founded the company in October 1993 after full time development of the Company’s core display technologies. Educated in Chichester, England, Rapley has an HNC in Electrical engineering.

Phil Brown

Vice President Aerosim Technologies

Phil Brown possesses over 20 years experience in the Aerospace industry, the last 17 of which have been in the simulation of aircraft avionics and systems. He previously worked at British Aerospace in the Computational Fluid Dynamics Dept. and at Singer Link Miles on Aerodynamics and systems.  He is responsible for all aspects of Product Development at Aerosim. This includes leading the Simulation, CBT/Multimedia and Customer Support Departments, in addition to Program Management.  Educated in England, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering with Honors from Queen Mary College, London.

Mark Sawyer

Vice President Sales & Marketing

Captain Mark Sawyer began his career with Aerosim in 1997 as a consultant, and currently is responsible for Sales and Marketing activities throughout the world for Aerosim.  He graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree and possesses over 28 years experience in the aircraft simulation and training industry. Captain Sawyer has worked for major simulator manufacturers as a Sales Engineer and Sales Director. He has over 34 years flying experience as a US Navy pilot, and Commercial Airline pilot including positions as instructor pilot, check airman, and FAA designee for Northwest Airlines, and has flown the B727, B757, A300, A320, and DC9.

Eduardo A. Carrasco

Vice President Aerosim Flight Academy & Training Solutions

Eduardo A. Carrasco has more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry and is currently the Vice President of Global Business Development and Training Solutions for Aerosim. Carrasco is a commercial rated pilot and graduate of Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management and Flight Technology. His extensive experience includes working for People Express Airlines, Chalks Airlines, Eastern Airlines, Airbus Industrie, United Airlines and Mechtronix Systems, Inc. Carrasco also served in the military, serving first in the U.S. Air Force and then in the U.S. Marine Corps. Carrasco is a native of Bogotá, Colombia with U.S. citizenship.

Paul Woessner

Vice President Program Development

Paul Woessner joined the Academy in January 2010, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in broad-based flight operations and sales management. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) for The Boeing Company where he was responsible for launching the Boeing MPL training program in China, Canada and Australia. Woessner has also worked for Diamond Aircraft Industries, Inc., Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, US Airship Leasing, Inc., Virgin Lightships, Inc./Vintage Airways, Inc. and Airborne America, Inc./Thunder & Colt Ltd. Woessner is a certified FAA Commercial Pilot, with additional certifications in Boeing Export Control Training, Import and Export Compliance, U.S. Security Training, and Ethics Training, among others.
