Product Overview

The Virtual Maintenance Trainer™ is a simulation-based training device designed to optimize training time and improve the learning process for maintenance personnel.  The Virtual Maintenance Trainer can be delivered in a single or dual screen desktop configuration. Maintenance training functionality can also be built into the Virtual Procedure Trainer flat panel trainer environment. Theory, practice, technical details, and practice scenarios are brought together in a realistic environment.

Virtual Aircraft

Virtual Aircraft enables pilots and technicians to perform external component location, walk around inspection and procedure based interaction. Users are able to perform practical exercises including: operational tests (systems and BITE), AMM & TSM tasks, MMEL maintenance procedures, and servicing.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Maintenance functions including avionics bay, black box location LRU BITE and failures can be included. Individual Line Replaceable Units (LRU’s) or the complete equipment bay can be simulated which may be used to familiarize maintenance personnel with the avionics. The LRU’s with LCD/menu type interfaces are fully simulated with customer specified malfunctions to aid in troubleshooting techniques.

Active Schematics

Active Schematics are detailed diagrams of the aircraft systems. They show in real-time what is happening within the aircraft systems based on flight deck inputs. These Active Schematics are tied directly into the simulation in progress.
