JetPac™
Product Overview
JetPac™ is the fastest, easiest way to learn the concepts and procedures required to confidently manage Autopilot, EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument Systems) and FMS (Flight Management System) in today’s high-tech flight decks.
Setting a new standard in Simulation Based Training, Aerosim’s JetPac™ is the only training package designed to introduce students to “Glass Cockpit” concepts using integrated simulation and courseware in a fully interactive training environment.
Aerosim’s JetPac™ is comprised of a series of guided lessons (8-10 hours), a flight exercise and a two part evaluation covering the concepts and procedures required to manage Autopilot, EFIS (Electronic flight Instrument System) and FMS (Flight Management System) in today’s high-tech flight decks.
Aircraft currently available:
Individual students
JetPac™ will give the student confidence in understanding and managing glass flight deck technology. JetPac™ will also introduce the changes in pilot roles resulting from high-tech automation, and familiarize the student with new procedures and terminology
Training organizations
Air transport operators and training organizations can apply Aerosim Jetpac™ to ground school training as a prerequisite to initial, transition, upgrade and differences courses. It was also designed for recurrent ground school cycles, perfectly suited as a review as to what was taught in initial training.
Ab Initio/Primary and University programs
JetPac™ can take away the mystery of the glass flight decks and give their students a sense of confidence in automation by providing the “big picture,” offering it in advanced navigation, avionics and instrument courses.
Learning Management System
JetPac™ can be integrated into a Learning Management System (LMS) to provide progress monitoring, testing and scoring for all students.
Metered Access
Aerosim’s metered access program, JetPac is available for purchase on an hourly access basis. This program gives the user access to the standard JetPac guided lessons, training scenario and evaluations plus the Virtual Flight Deck™ for free-play practice. Internet access is required to run the product in this manner.
Special programs have been designed to meet the needs of schools incorporating JetPac into their curriculum. These programs take into account the number of students using the program over a period of time and based on volume may allow for an instructor copy of the Virtual Flight Deck to be used in the classroom.
