Aerosim offers a robust accelerated pilot training program at both our Sanford, Florida, and Houston, Texas, locations. Based on our experience in airline training standards and operations, our program prepares students for professional pilot careers. The Aerosim aircraft fleet includes the Cessna 172, Piper Seminole, Piper Arrow, Beechcraft King Air and the high technology, all glass flight deck Cirrus SR20. Our training facilities house Aerosim manufactured and FAA certified hi-fidelity Flight Training Devices (FTDs) as well as simulation software including realistic computer based training.

First Officer Professional Development

Aerosim Flight Academy is a world leader in flight training and has produced many of the airline industry’s best pilots since 1989. Aerosim Flight Academy includes initial training for private, instrument, multi-engine and commercial pilot certification, both FAA and JAA, followed by Jet Transition Training and an aircraft-specific Type Rating.

Jet Transition Training

Upon completion of the private, instrument, commercial and multi-engine license, Aerosim pilots are placed into Jet Transition training. This three week course includes 55 hours of academics and 26 hours in an FAA approved Regional Jet Flight Training Device. All of our instructors are current line qualified pilots flying regional jets for U.S. based regional airlines.
